Not bad, wish it was Romney +9 or something.  CO doesn't need to be a swing state, should be similar in polling to Arizona.

This poll suggests that Obama is only ahead 50-42 among Latinos in Colorado. That is absurd. Every other polls has Obama getting 65-70% of the Latino vote in Colorado and its not as if there is some hidden population of elderly rightwing Cubans in Denver. That alone would flip Colorado back to Obama by a point or two

Also, a 15% swing by Hispanics in favor of Romney from the last election seems to contradict the general trends shown by other polls.

This poll suggests that Romney is only ahead 51-45 among whites in Colorado. That is absurd.

Just another front in the war on whites.

I think there's some reason to be optimistic about holding Colorado.

Where did you get that figure?  I'd like to see the white % from 2008 for all states.

I believe there were one or more forums threads on the topic, complete with maps. (I'm too lazy to find the link).

Well, there's this:

This shows although  Romney  is crushing Obama with the white vote,  it is very inefficient, a lot of votes are being  wasted where they are not needed.

The South is just a horror to look at.

We were so close up in Jersey... oh so close.

There's really no other explanation for that ten point shift in the white vote in the Deep South form Kerry to Obama than racism. Wow.

Seriously.. you would think that Obama is actually a BETTER fit culturally for the Deep South as compared to rich guy liberal from Mass., John Kerry.   Take into account the country shifted 9 pts TO Obama overall... this is a sad, sad result out of one of my favorite states.

EDIT: this IS Clinton country... almost every state to swing GOP in 2008 is a Southern state that the Clintons had specific appeal.

Oh, it most certainly will.  Romney is counting on whites and only whites to carry him through.  The race divide in the 2012 election is going to be painful to look at.
