I suppose so, BRTD, but still!

We've agreed (or at least I have vowed) to stop polluting the rest of the forum with pastel horses. The flipside is that this is our pasture.

Actually, to be fair, I never really stopped polluting the rest of the forum with pastel horses. This thread probably deserves a jab or two after what Zanas and I have been up to. Grin

New episode tomorrow, seems to be about the CMC's dealing with a bully. The previews seem decent.

Also, I heard somewhere that Tosh.0 did a segment about the...other elements of the fandom, and of course implied we're all like that. Instead of taking the usual wrote of hastily typing up angry letters, which makes us look like idiots and never does a thing, I hope we just ignore it for a change. It's like writing an angry letter to Mitt Romney every time he lied on the campaign trail. Tosh.0 isn't even that funny anyway.

Can anyone recommend me a fanfiction? Background Pony is over, and Contraptionology and Ordo ab Chao look like they're wrapping up as well.

...Not quite sure what to think of this one. On one hand, the old-school music video was well-made (Ingram rarely disappoints, and I liked the reference to that concession stand cartoon), and some of the interactions between the Crusaders were pretty fun (like the initiation ceremony). Pinkie driving the lettuce car (and then leaving the wheel to read) was also pretty funny.

On the other hand, this episode really came off as heavy-handed, as if it were just an anti-bullying PSA with ponies. The whole thing of Babs having been bullied herself was fairly obvious from the start (and introduced rather poorly), though with only 22 minutes to write a story I'll cut them some slack. And I'm not entirely sure how I feel that the Cutie Mark Crusaders technically planned to kill Babs Seed. Overall, fairly entertaining, but one of the weaker episodes. Other than Too Many Pinkie Pies, Season 3 has honestly not been on par with the past two seasons other than the animation.

I liked the episode even though a lot of it was obvious and anvilicious. I thought it was clever that Babs had such a thick Brooklyn accent since she was from Manehatten. I get the impression though that the episode (amongst other Cutie Mark Crusader focused ones) was probably designed to give some of the voice actresses a break since only Applejack and briefly Pinkie Pie have any speaking parts. Also the song reminded me of Farewell Continental.

Anyone watched The Littlest Pet Shop? I keep seeing promos for it on the episodes and toy promos with Friendship Is Magic, and it's got a lot of the same voice actresses. Is it any good?

I just watched the four episodes they have so far, and I quite liked them, particularly the fourth.

Hallelujah ! Finally I find this thread ! My home ! I'm still getting at the end of season 2 which I watch on Youtube where there are French subtitles, and so far it's pretty good though two or three episodes lacked a bit substance.

I'm so happy I'm not alone. My wife doesn't quite understand me on this... Sad

Actually I'm still a bit new to this whole forum, and I hadn't come to the Off-topic board until just a few days ago. There are still some boards I have yet to discover. Smiley

Fairly good episode; I tend to like these sorts of character studies. Apple Bloom is still my favorite Crusader, though.

I finally saw that episode about Twilight Sparkle's magic duel with Trixie. Definitely one of the better new season ones, surprised I waited so long to see it. I really liked how Princess Celestia was meeting emissaries from "Saddle Arabia". The show somehow manages to make puns like that amusing.
