To opebo and others who are constantly going on and on about racism affecting the election, please STOP.  I have seen no evidence to support this contention, and no one in the media is raising the issue.  If Obama loses this election, this will not be the reason.  I am really tired of reading this, and I have never used the ignore function- until now.

It's really annoying.

Even if the point was valid, posting it hundreds of times in every thread is just obnoxious, you see.

racism has a massive effect on every election - millions of blacks and Hispanics are not allowed to vote.

White people never fully realize the everyday racism that Black people face.  Black people live in a world in America dominated by a dominant white culture, white society, white bosses, white banks, white teachers, white police, etc.  The white-dominated economy is an obstacle to Black independence.  Black people do not have their own economic strength and identity.  Nor do Black people have political clout or political respect.

The problem is that the country didn't suddenly become racist in the last four years.  If it wasn't there in 2008, why should it suddenly appear in 2012?

Black people live in a world in America dominated by a dominant white culture, white society, white bosses, white banks, white teachers, white police, etc.  The white-dominated economy is an obstacle to Black independence.  Black people do not have their own economic strength and identity.  Nor do Black people have political clout or political respect.

Let's see, my supervisor at work was black, my landlady is black, my priest is black, the executrix of my estate is black, the heads of the professional association who appointed me to positions is black, my old girlfriend is black.  The music I listen to is performed by (and written by, in some cases), by black artists.   The mayor of my city, city council member, state representative, state senator, and member of congress are all black.

When they were handing out "white domination," I must have been shooting pool.

Here's some evidence as to why whites are still racist.
