Obama 49.30%
Romney 45.85%
Another candidate 2.24%
Undecided 2.61%

October 5; 1,122 likely voters; MoE +/- 2.93%.

Specifically on the likely voter screen:

"An initial qualifying statement was read to respondents asking them to participate only if they were very likely to vote in the November General Election. "

Obama actually widened his lead from their last poll from A month ago...Obama 45.49%/Romney 43.65%

No.  The EPIC-MRA poll was done for the Detroit Free Press.  This FMW poll was conducted for Fox 2 Detroit.

I changed the link to provide for the full poll release.  There are no cross-tabs.  The party ID was D+10.07.  FMW had to weight for lower poll participation among men, African Americans, 18-30s and 31-50s.

Considering this poll was entirely taken on Friday, the single worst day for Obama in the campaign so far, I'd say he's pretty safe in Michigan.

The funny thing is those percentages don't correspond to any fraction with 1122 in the denominator.
