Seems to contradict everything we've been seeing otherwise but let the freak out commence.

EDIT: It's possible that this is just a result of Pew finally unskewing their polls.

Wait, so will Republicans suddenly love Pew now (after complaining endlessly about how those polls that showed Obama up by 8 and 10 points respectively were clearly bogus)?

I don't know much about Pew, are they a bad pollster? I mean, that Obama +8 was a bit much but this seems to imply Romney got a 12-point swing that didn't show up in any other polls.

I guess it's possible that Romney led by some ridiculous margin on Friday alone. Tongue

More Republicans sampled here than a Rasmussen poll! I guess you cant discount it but it seems like an outlier.

Not Party ID, please, god, no.

My gut feeling is that Romney had insane leads on Friday and Saturday, but they faded, which is why we don't say Romney +8 or whatever on Rasmussen. PPP will probably have Romney ahead nationally too.

What? full of s***?

Basic thing is, it's been clearly a sign of a dodgy poll when Romney is close to Obama among women... it's not going to happen.

Presumably people who responded to the poll did not want to acknowledge voting for a chump who got his rear kicked repeatedly. Shrug.

That might actually be true, and might explain the bizarre 12-point (!) swing.

^ Yeah, the internals pretty much erase any worries I had about this.

I mean, look at this. 2/3 of respondents over 50? Am I misreading this?

I've sent this poll in to be reskewed.
