I also like that as a game it actually encourages church attendance. Churches are usually portals, so just claim your's, slap some multi-hack mods on, and then hack away during the service. Of course if you go to a Catholic or "high" church most people probably wouldn't approve but hey, I get to play video games at church now too!

What's quite awkward is watching a movie in a theater that's a portal. I usually try to position my phone in my pocket so I can hit the hack button without taking it out.

Afterwards, he turned to Tagg and said "Can you believe what I just said about Fatty out there?"

I have a dream, that one day, Atlasians will be judged not by the color of their avatar but by the content of their trolling.

Been reading thru old threads on U.S. General now that I'm a mod there now to see if there's anything that needs deleting or moving to another board.  Came across this old gem discussing the post of Senate Majority Leader that displays the perils of making predictions.

Santorum will run after Frist retires (in 2006) and yes the GOP will still have a majority in the Senate.
This was the really ironic part:

Santorum will run after Frist retires (in 2006) and yes the GOP will still have a majority in the Senate.

Hehe, if Hoeffel, Hafer, or Casey don't unseat him! Smiley

Hoeffel unseating Santorum? BIG maybe. Santorum would be favored.

Hafer unseating Santorum? Ok I won't even waste my time on this one...

Casey unseating Santorum? Possibility. Problem is: He doesn't want to run for Senate.

Casey wanted to be Governor, not Senator. Phil was entirely right.

Oh, then please quote my quotation of Phil to the deluge on charges of ignorance. My apologies to Phil. In my defense, I never called the prediction anything insulting, just found it ironic.

Its somewhat ironic since he is senator now but when Phil posted that, he was spot on.

I think that if Corbett wins, I'll venture as far as to say that Casey runs for Governor in 2018. Really isn't a problem though, we got Kane waiting in the wings.

Could be, could be. I've always, personally, felt that there could be a correlation between eating unhealthy food and obesity. But, yeah, I think your explanation is considerably better thought out than mine.

This is perfect for my wrong prediction/funny in hindsight thread that never really took off.

Is there any election in which you haven't initially "endorsed" the Republican candidate?

Did he endorse Romney at any point?

At one point, yes, but I think he switched back to Obama at the last minute.

Literally the last second.  I had Romney on my voting screen, but switched it to Obama before I hit submit.

Also, switching to beer because you drink too much soda may be the worst solution ever. Please don't do that.

I think someone here is framing me by making socks and typing similar to me.  Defintly a liberal. Proabably because of my views.

I got busted for having a "hit list" in elementary school. I got sent to the principals office and my parents grounded me for 2 weeks.

Wasn't any malice behind it, I just thought Kill Bill was a really cool movie.

I've tried to use some personal examples of why people shouldn't make such predictions and with such certainty but people still don't listen. Wink

By the way, while I was wrong about Casey running for the Senate, anyone with a brain that follows PA politics knows he has always wanted to be Governor, would have preferred it to being Senator and will almost definitely run in 2018 if it is open. If not, I could see him simply not seeking re-election to the Senate.

Now if only we could pull this off on the national stage...

Americans were shocked to learn that Herman Cain is actually of Scotch-Irish origin.

Sounds like you're just threatened by an Ohioan who dares to have an opinion.

Honestly, the anti-Ohioanism in this thread is disgusting.
