On a scale of 1 to 5, how excited are you for 4 more years of an Obama presidency?

What will he accomplish during the next 4 years?

Do you think most Americans are excited to have Obama as president for another 4 years?

Do you think Mitt Romney would manage a better presidency than Obama, and have more successful accomplishments than Obama could?

2

2nd term will see an improving economy but Obama will spend the majority of it focused on foreign policy w/ perhaps a minor push for national legalization of gay marriage.

I think most Americans are disillusioned with all politicians.

I think a Mitt Romney presidency would be disasterous.

Since the alternative is the dismantling of what remains of the welfare state, (nuclear) war with Iran, and permanently turning the country into a banana republic, I am 5, very excited.

The economy will keep recovering, there may be immigration-reform, repeal of DOMA (So I'm optimistic. Sue me.)

Do you think most Americans are excited to have Obama as president for another 4 years?

No, but more excited than about having Romney as president.

Do you think Mitt Romney would manage a better presidency than Obama, and have more successful accomplishments than Obama could?

Well, with both chambers of congress likely being in GOP control, Obama won't be able to get much done. But I AM excited about avoiding GOP control of the White House as well, so I'd say 4.

Not really.  The only way DOMA is likely to be tossed in the next four years is if the Supreme Court strikes it down and I don't see this court doing that.  There will almost certainly be increasing acceptance of gay marriage at the State level, but the provisions in US immigration law that affect you two are going to remain in place at least two more years and likely longer.

Two; I do not know what his priorities are going to be or which factions are going to be how cooperative with his administration on which issues; I reckon most Americans at this point do not deem the prospect of Obama or Romney being president particularly exciting; and the last question can't really be answered with confidence by me without first knowing how elections in the Congress are going to play out.

I'm not excited. I would be disgusted with the US if that kind of alternative won, obviously, but that doesn't make me excited about the current Democrats. Maybe a 1 on a scale of 0 to 5, but that's already generous.

On a scale of 1 to 5, maybe 2.  I'm still for Romney, and Obama's DNC speech was ambiguous, at best, but there are some policy agenda items in Obama's bag o'tricks that I'm hoping he'll pull out.  I'd really like to see a withdrawal of the military from Afghanistan, and the current timetable has it ending in his second administration.  Also, he talked about creating 1 million manufacturing jobs over four years, cutting oil imports in half by 2020, and cutting in half the growth in college tuition.  I don't know how he's going to do all that, but if he does, then he'll be remembered as a winner.

2.  The fact that Obama has entirely abandoned even trying to do anything about climate change makes me very worried about our future.  Still better than the alternative, though.

Who the hell wants the next four years to look like the past four years? The president's support of gay marriage is not going to create jobs, let alone gay marriages. The president's unwavering support of Jimmy Carter's failed policies is not going to help America.

Obama had his chance and failed. It's Romney's turn.

Not at all, one.

What will he accomplish during the next 4 years?

Perhaps something in foreign policy. As for domestic, the Democratic Party will not control the House after 2012 and will not control the Senate after 2014, so it'll depend on what's going on in Congress and what he chooses to focus on.

Do you think most Americans are excited to have Obama as president for another 4 years?

lol no. Neither are they excited to have Romney, of course.

Do you think Mitt Romney would manage a better presidency than Obama, and have more successful accomplishments than Obama could?

A better presidency? Certainly, from my point of view. More successful accomplishments? Different strokes for different folks, but from my point of view, very likely. Certainly just the repeal of Obamacare will count as a great achievement.

5, though I probably would give infinity if that were an option.

I'm expecting the best four years of any administration ever.

Does this qualify as excessive hyperbole?

1.5

Horrible economy, Invasive foreign policy, Obamacare/Affordable Care Act, shockingly worse on civil liberties than George W. Bush, and run-away deficits.

the only reason I wouldn't vote for Romney is because Romney doesn't really object to any of Obama's policies, plus he would nuke Iran and be an absolute disaster on foreign policy.

1, as in not at all excited. But I'm not scared or angry at the prospect.

Probably nothing. Congress will still be solidly Republican. Maybe some watered-down spending cuts and loophole closures. After 2014, his influence will most likely be marginal.

Of course not. Apart from his fans in the mainstream center-left, no one does. But lucky for him, most people probably think the alternative is worse.

Nope. The only really good thing would be the Keystone Pipeline.
