I think if you'd ask 1000 people here in Austria who Gary Johnson was, you'd be lucky to get 1 person to know that he's a former Gov. of New Mexico (me excluded of course ).

I think most would assume that he's some actor or English football player etc.

Yeah, haha. I guess it comes from hanging around an extremely hackish, baby-eating, NHS hating, Republican loving, 'moar tax cuts', Tory student crowd.

The average person wouldn't know bugger all about Johnson, would only know about Romney for ripping the Olympics and would nine times out of ten say that anyone not voting Obama is a racist.
