What is happening in Wyre Forest ? I s the Doctor standing again ? If so on what grounds ?

If normal politics returned it would be a LAB/CON Marginal . By that assumption it should be a LAB Gain this year. Any THOUGHTS?

"The Doctor" is running again... on the basis that he's an electoral lock by the sound of it...

LD's still not running against him?

And if so, why doesn't he just join them?

Technically he's a part of the Kidderminster Hospital and Health Concern I think. They are on the local council where indeed they fight against both the Liberal Party and the Liberal Democrats for council seats.

I think the local party would be somewhat peeved if he defected to the Lib Dems.

He has a lock regardless I expect, especially with the NHS being a likely major election issue.

He's pretty socially conservative and anti-european. More of an Independent Labour M.P than anything else really.

So, are they running a candidate against him?

Not sure... I gave up trying to follow Kiddy area politics a while ago (bit by bit it makes you go insane).
