Haha I was kidding. I only have 1 car. My family owns 4 altogether.

I see. In the 80s and 90s it wasn't unusual for my family to own an excess of cars, say two per person, but this was because we bought second hand and had a habit of keeping 'SUVs' as well as cars (they weren't called SUVs when we had them, they were called 'four wheel drives', or 'Jeeps)' - simply because it seemed not so pleasant to drive an SUV during good weather, and any way excellent second hand large cars were so cheap then.  Now of course everything has come to despair and ignominy in the automotive as well as generally - the last car my poor mother had before she entered the nursing home was one of these bought near-new!:

- Cars
 - "Technology" in general (TVs, computers, miscellaneous gadgets, etc.)
 - Books
 - Movies

You may be untypically prosperous, eh?

Board games. I probably have about 200 including all the 3M bookshelf games from the 60's and many SPI and AH war games from the 70's. Lots of vintage 80's RPGs, too.

1. Houses
2. Old shoes that I never wear, and clothes that don't fit me.
3. THC and assorted paraphernalia related thereto

That is about it. I find an excess of personalty entrapping rather than liberating.

Ties and dress shirts. I'm always a sucker for them. I think at this point, I have between 35 and 40 different dress shirts, and maybe 30 ties. I can go about two months without ever wearing the same shirt or tie, and probably almost a year with making different combinations before you see the same thing.

Besides my unbelievably large collection of stuffed animals, I have a library of Shoujo manga magazines and tankobons that is way too large.

And a relatively modest, but still pretty hefty, collection of My Little Ponies.

You're implying there's such a thing as too much shoujo manga (I mean, if it's good shoujo manga).

I would have an easier time doing the opposite, probably.

But things I have a lot of...

Books

Board games

DVDs.

I don't generally own a lot of things.

Uh, let's say that the quality is uh...highly variable.

Sometimes you have rather specific tastes and interests in your younger days that do not exactly stand the test of time...

board games
dress clothes
old computer games (1996-2005ish mostly)
health supplements (I once dropped +$100 at a Vitamin Shoppe)
paraphernalia of a sort that would probably be inappropriate to discuss on the forum
also, yeah, books.

No, I don't have paper copies of them, but they are in my computer.
Rather works, notes, exams, books of the high school, college and university.
Reminds me than I must prepare my things for the next year in the following weeks.

Hmm.. could be two general categories - does your paraphernalia have more in common with

a)

or does its name rhyme with:

b)

Hahaha Cheesy

Well, broadly speaking, both, though I am not in possession of any Bilboes. Tongue The latter category consists more of various items ranging from the mundane to, I suppose, unusual, that certain female friends have entrusted me with the possession of. I'm trying to keep the public discourse here rated PG, but, I mean, feel free to send me a PM if you're curious about the details.

Records collecting dust, three sets of golf clubs (two of which were inherited), and about eight guitars too many.  Otherwise, I'd say I'm pretty excess free.

my house has been in the family since it was built around 75 years ago, and my grandfather is a clinical hoarder, so suffice it to say we are buried.

I probably have over 200 pages of old doodles I've hung onto, for whatever reason. I'm kind of attached to them.
