Name something you own more of than the average person. For instance I personally own 11 jerseys, more than I expect most people own. I think this'll be very telling about some of us. Tongue

Cars Wink

But really, hats and polos, I guess? I have a ton of hats from baseball to golf to random ones I just have, but I don't really wear them often. I also have just about every color polo imaginable and every shade. Maybe I have an abundance of Apple products? A macbook, an iPhone, an iPad, an iPod shuffle, etc. I really don't think I own anything else. I don't own any jerseys.

How many cars, Duke?

As for me I only have a lot of second hand clothes, an affordable, if apartment-stuffing, vice.

Ah yes, I forgot about my own Polo collection! That's a good one. And Nikes, too.

I imagine I own way more books then the average person, though almost all of them were accumulated from ages 12-15, so I can't exactly point at the shelf and go "look how well read I am!" (almost the entire top shelf of my bookcase is Star Wars).

I have more shoes then the average person, mainly because I have to replace my running shoes every year due to wear and tear, but have held onto them "just in case" ever since.

Also, decks of playing cards.  My grandfather, who is a packrat (I say this with love!) has given me all kinds of things, among which are maybe a dozen decks of cards from his bridge games in the 70s.  I have them in a drawer somewhere...I think.

Haha I was kidding. I only have 1 car. My family owns 4 altogether.

I have Nikes, but only like 3 pairs. I don't consider that an excess amount. I do own way too many polos for my own good, and Guy Harvey shirts too.

I think I have an above-average number of books. Maybe not above average for posters on this forum, but certainly above average for the wider community. Reducing it to poetry books, I definitely have an above-average collection of those.

Ties. I have a decent tie collection. Some are good ones, some cheap and nasty and should be tossed, but generally a wide selection.

It was mostly fleeting stuff- booze, smokes, food etc..  I've been trying to replace that with some more healthy excess like exercise without the all too common side effects of the recently converted of being a bore, self righteous or a self righteous bore....

On more tangible assets, I buy and break way too many laptops since I spend an excessive amount of time online on various devices.

Books, coffee mugs, and stuffed animals from when I was little (mostly won at fairs).

I also own five bobbleheads, which is probably five more than that of the average person. Tongue

Actually, that reminds me, a mate who visited us recently said our household had the best spirits collection he'd seen in a private residence - as in, wide variety of good quality spirits. A decent proportion belongs to my brother-in-law, however (why I said household).

We've probably also got an above-average wine selection - not enough to propel us into the real wine enthusiasts level, but certainly more than average (I think less than 150 bottles).

Haha nice! In my perpetual wandering I haven't been very successful in my consumed liquor collection. The new place has but one pitiful vodka bottle...
