This is something else that's the Republicans' fault.
If they didn't close the shelters, this guy wouldn't have had to start a fire to keep warm.
How about we ship the homeless overseas. Ship them to Canada.
That statement may seem ridiculous at first glance. But such a plan may be better for everyone involved. The homeless would be better off in a comfortable welfare state. Meanwhile, Americans will not be plagued with panhandlers any longer. Win-win.
Yeah, only Canada gets shipped tons of people that are known not to want to do anything but live off welfare. I addressed this before; the point of a welfare system is to support the people already living somewhere, not to accomodate everyone on the planet. His Majesty King Ralph Klein of Alberta already did this with Vancouver; we don't need an entire country now doing it.
