The question was posed, calling for a poll!  One thing leads to another. I am a mere conduit.

No (liberal). But many, if not most of them, are one of those four things.

I was thinking of putting "liberal or worse" in the poll (well liberal or left of liberal although I like the troll touch of "worse" better), but didn't have room, because I just knew you would say that opebo. You're as predictable as a Swiss watch my boy. Smiley

Not "most" but it's definitely the most dominant demographic.

What is take on a familiar cliche? not all Republicans are racist but all racists are Republican. Now of course that is not ironclad, however,  I have anecdotally found it to be fairly accurate- at least around here.

There are very few Republican voters to whom at least one of those adjectives does not apply.

No, but the alternatives of "liberal" and "not liberal" make me more confused about what I am than about what Republicans are.

Most people in the United States have at least one of these attributes applicable to them.

Not technically. This category is too small for a majority of republican voters to fit into. However, I'd bet this is the category where republican voters are the most overrepresented. Make of that what you want...

No, but the alternatives of "liberal" and "not liberal" make me more confused about what I am than about what Republicans are.

This. In the American sense, 'liberal' = 'left-wing', which I am not, usually. But then I call my own ideology neoliberalism...

I voted 'no, liberal', but that's sort of dishonest.

There are very few Republican voters to whom at least one of those adjectives does not apply.

Most people in the United States have at least one of these attributes applicable to them.

Indeed, I would have to say that not a very large fraction of the Democratic party are young tolerant minority women.

No - "most" means a majority, which I don't believe is the case.  But I would rephrase it this way:

I believe a disproportionately high number of white Republican men and women are racist, though are still not the majority.

This being only based on personal observation - and I live in one of the most liberal states in the country.

Interestingly bizarre, I wouldn't have guessed.

Although, and it doesn't relate to that article but the general premise, "anti-Semitic" is thrown around way too loosely.  I am very strongly opposed to Zionism and believe in a one state solution - a free and democratic Palestine for all peoples.  It's the right wing Israeli lobby that's uber-Zionist that tries to make people like me appear anti-Semitic, and I've been accused of it for this stance - while I am not by any means.  In fact, part of the reason I'm so avidly against Zionism is, from my standpoint, it has been very destructive for the Jewish people.  But Likkud and their cronies in Washington would have you believe otherwise.  Drives me nuts.

That guy won't respond to you, just as an FYI. Got banned for calling the Dems Nazis one too many times.

It always irks me when people call political groups/figures Nazis.  As much as I disagree with certain people, that's a bit past the line for me, considering the whole mass genocide.
