Balotelli could have had three goals by now but at least Milan is up 1-0.

Maradona has finally returned to Italy (long kept away for legal issues). He was supposed to return for this Friday's Napoli-Juve match but, for some reason, isn't staying.  Sad

Napoli now hasn't scored a goal since February 9th and hasn't won a game since February 2nd. All this ahead of the biggest match of the season on Friday and even with a win, we'll still be three points behind Juventus.  Sad

Reminder that El Clasico is tomorrow, followed by Bayern-Dortmund on Wednesday, with El Clasico again on Saturday for some reason, followed by the most important derby on Sunday between Arsenal and that other North London club.

The reason for two Clasico's this week: today's (which Madrid is dominating 3-0 at Camp Nou) is Copa del Rey. Saturday is a league match back in Madrid.

I'll forgive Lief for not mentioning the Friday game in the only league that has a real title race. Wink Maradona returned to Naples today for the first time in years. He was, of course, greeted like the king that he is. Unfortunately, he won't be at Friday's showdown but I think he will lend some inspiration to a team that badly needs it. We just seemed to not care this month. Almost all draws (except losses in Europa).

Bayern vs. Dortmund is tonight.

Any predictions ?

Dortmund is THE enemy of the Bavarians.

Bayern lost by 2:5 last year against them and couldn't win the last 5 games against Dortmund.

But this year the Bavarians are pretty good and the game takes place in Munich.

So, I'll say 2:0 for Bayern today.

Lolno, they're merely the most supported team in Germany and the most successful (apart from Bayern) of recent years.

A beauty strike (with some help off of a deflection) from Inler ties it up right before half time. 1-1 in Naples. Smiley

Well, I guess a draw is better than a loss. Luckily, Juve has a more difficult end of the season schedule with April looking pretty tough for them.

Don't laugh too hard, Lief. Arsenal still has to go to Munich. Wink

For the first time in seventeen years, there won't be an English team in the Champions League Quarter finals. So strange.

Celtic couldn't even give Juve a hard time? Sad

As of now, there is a one team from Germany, one from Spain, one from Italy and one from France qualified for the next round. Bayern will kill Arsenal and Schalke should beat Galatasary (three teams total from Germany) while Milan will hang on in Barcelona (two teams from Italy) and Porto will beat Valencia (one team from Portugal). Again, no English teams advancing. Sure, they got a very difficult draw this time around but it's still hard to grasp the thought.

I can actually see Arsenal scoring first in Munich, we've got nothing to lose , but then Bayern will wake up and score 10.

Always a tough game in Verona and it looks like we'll lose there. Again. This will end our dreams. Sad

Yes.

At least PULS 4 is showing it live, so I don't have to watch it on a live stream.
