I'm thinking about running for President on a blue collar protest ticket (again...) to make things more interesting...

Anyways, feedback would be nice and if you've got any questions about possible policies etc. I'll answer 'em.

I'm 50/50 on running/not running right now, btw

If you want to split the left go ahead, I don't mind.

Oh yes, I forgot about the great benefits of preferential voting, and I always use it!

I guess he won't split the left any more than States will split the right.

No, States will split the right more, because you're too stupid stubborn ...something... to use PV Kiki

I don't see how it'd be beneficial to the left, but I don't see how it'd be harmful either.  I've pledged my support to Lewis, and I don't forsee myself changing my mind, but I'll open my ears to what Al has to say.

Run Al. Like I said in my editorial the more the merrier. I think you should run its not like you would hurt Lewis since we use PV. So run, go for it.

Run if you want to, but you won't win i'm afraid :S.

You'd be better off to help out Nym with his campaign, imho-Naso could be trouble.

Like I said I'm not sure whether I'll run or not. Hey maybe the right thing to do would be just crown Kemperor "Supreme High Emperor of Earth [for Life]" and be done with it... (only joking)

Couple of things need clearing up:

1. Yes I know I won't win. So what? Last time I ran I didn't intend to win (and didn't). The whole point of fantasy elections is to have FUN and this appears to be lost on certain people.
Besides weird upsets happen from time to time (Sunderland aren't doing so badly this year for example)

2. If (and it's still a big "if") I ran, my policies would have a populist communitarianish flavour as opposed to being left wing as such... basically New Deal style policies.

3. I'm not happy with the policies advocated by the Lewis/TD ticket (although as people I like both of them, and if I ran would second preferance them) and the "Policies? Who needs policies? I'm going to win no matter what happens!" approach of Kemperor isn't exactly my cup of tea.

4. Isn't preferential voting neat?

Your choice of a raging liberal name Alcon made me change my mind. I could have tolerated that RINO Soulty.

How is Super a RINO when he has shown his obvious dislike for RINOs like Arlen Specter? Didn't we have this discussion before?

Al running against his running mate eh?  This is like Gore jumping in against Lieberman except this time neither has a chance of winning.
