I posted this poll in my NC 2012 races thread, but I'll post it here too:

McIntyre (D)- 44%
Rouzer (R)- 40%

Romney is leading by 17 in the district (53-36) which matches McCain's 16 point win (58-42) in 2008.

Going into September 2010, POS had McIntyre down 7 and Kisell up 5; McIntyre won by 8 and Kissell won by 9.

The Rouzer campaign isn't releasing crosstabs.

I think Mr. McIntyre will win this district. Perhaps though if he leaves it will be a GOP takeover.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he'll hold on, but Rouzer seems less controversial and more likely to win than Pantano, so the GOP is not letting it go easily. I hope McIntyre doesn't retire this decade. He's only 56 and could hold this seat for some more cycles.
