B is correct. A would not really be wrong, provided you got up to do it as soon as (or while) you said it, but B is the answer sought.

B for 11, D for 16.

However A and C for 11 and A and B for 16 would not be incorrect.

Hey, could you give us insights into Chinese politics?

The prompt for 16 is awful. No native speaker would ever say that. If you want to be formal, it should be I'm terribly sorry for stepping on your feet. Or, more conversationally, simply Sorry for stepping on your feet.

Yes, I did think both A and B were correct, but I suppose I don't know my language well enough.

Do you think both A and B are correct?

B is probably how a native speaker would say it, but A is also correct.

D is the only right answer here.

Maybe the person being stepped on in 16 has masochistic tendencies. In which case, C is correct.

Explain, please. Also, where do you fish? What fish do you catch? Deep-sea fishing, fly-fishing, what's your style?

Are you from Taiwan? I ask because the "guo" character is traditional (國) as opposed to simplified (国). I thought you were from the PRC.

Very small fish, less than 10 cm long in the river near the road. Fish here become fewer and fewer because electronic capture.

Oh, that's unfortunate. Perhaps you should take trips out to the country.
