Careful Mikado;
the use of closed syllables
will anger Nathan

Nathan will judge us
If he so chooses, of course
He knows his haiku.

I stand here ready for it
I shall not fear him.

The kanshi form is less irritating used in English
as well as in my view far less overplayed.
In crimson chambers many were the dreams of camellia blossoms;
so also Atlas Forum is but our lives' fever-dream.

What is a haiku?
Is it a type of poetry?
I don't understand.

No, to be concise;
Rather the concept of
Lacking just translation.

All the verse of others, ever so harmèd by misthought
Falls from grace, leaving nary its past vigour.

Cathcon's haiku's good.
Five-seven-five in the lines
But not J's or Joe's.
