This is the official voting booth for the Mideastern Gubernatorial election.  Please do not vote unless you are a registered voter in the Mideastern region.

The voting booth is open from midnight eastern on Thursday night to midnight eastern on Sunday night.  It is being posted early so that it can be stickied before voting begins.

The candidates for Governor are:
- DanielX of Maryland
- Pete Bell of Indiana

Peferential voting will be used for this election, although it really doesn't matter unless you wish to vote for a write-in candidate.  Do not alter or delete your message once you have voted.

Although I am at present on a bus in Illinois, may I still cast my ballot? If not, consider it cast the moment i return home from my campaign trail. And just to be snarky, I think I'll abuse the preferential voting a bit.

Waitasec... you have an Oklahoma avatar. So you either need to put up a 'registered in WI' or you shouldn't be voting.

EDIT: I realize you've moved. but you should either put 'registered in WI' for the duration of the election, or not vote.

Please don't post tallies in the voting booth.

It's not unconstitutional or anything like that! Wink

I voted before i moved.
and in the past someone moving during an election was told to vote in their prior district.

Or in this case, prior region.

I am re-sending this, since I voted prior to the election. However, I have already 'conceded', so it's not much point, unless a lot of people vote for me between now and the end of voting.

Sorry my vote comes so close to closing time - I was undecided up to this point because of the excellence of both candidates
