Though Jake will disagree, I'll say Freedom State (technically Freedom Commonwealth) overall. The Philly suburbs suck, but I like the rural areas, the manufacturing towns, and Pittsburgh (Philly is okay as long as you know which parts of the city to stay the hell away from).

It's ok.  My dad lives there.  Some of the Philly 'burbs are alright.  If Philadelphians would just admit New York is 1,000,000 times the city they are then I'd like them more.  ; )

Freedom state overall.

EDIT: the middle of the state is creepy, though.  But they have great campgrounds... so, it's even.

I'm confused as to why options two and three exist in this poll.

My absolute least favourite state. The Philly burbs suck, Philadelphia as a city is only nice from a distance or if you're passing by. Pittsburgh is Philly Jr.

Absolutely a terrible state.

My only experience is eating some fast food in a food court in some place downtown in Philadelphia. So, I can't really judge.

If you're a tourist here and visit a food court downtown, you're most likely going to the famous Reading Terminal Market (which I go to for lunch a few times a week). It's not really classified as a place for fast food though so maybe that isn't where you went.

Reading Terminal is one of the only places downtown that I don't mind.

Never really liked Philly airport.  At least as of ~10 years ago, when I was flying through there more often, they seemed to have an unusually high number of incidents where luggage would miss the connecting flight.  Pittsburgh airport was better.  (Though I haven't been there in quite a while now.)

Ah, Pennsylvannia, the state has brought us Benjamin Franklin, The Office, Will Smith, Bam Margera, the Terrible Towel, Kelly Monaco, Jeff Goldblum, the band Fuel, Billy Mays, and the Roots.

Unfortunately, they brought us Taylor Swift, Wiz Khalifa, Pink, Rick Santorum, and Jerry Sandusky.

Kind of mixed here....

I've always liked Ron Paul, but I gave up supporting him once I realized he was going to lose. I've always labeled myself a "conscious" Paultard, one who digs the ideas of Ron Paul, but I don't believe he's perfect, nor did I ever believe he would actually become President.

But, if I'm not mistaken, he got his medical license in Texas.
