Back in 2005-06 we had two brothers posting here - WiseGuy and CheeseWhiz - who both eventually left.  A while ago, WiseGuy came back just to let us know that CheeseWhiz had passed away, but I don't recall if he elaborated on the circumstances.  He would have still been a teenager, I believe.

This guy? https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?action=profile;u=1290

Indeed, sadly Sad  One of my best forum bros when he was active.

If I ever stop posting for two or more weeks, then you should all assume that I'm dead.  Please be sure to mourn appropriately.

This.

Seriously, if I don't give good reason for not being here for a prolonged amount of time, assume I'm dead.

Once you reach 10,000 posts you become immortal.

But only as long as Nym doesn't disagree.

Yes, take me for example - I'm one of the pillars of the forum community and the moderators have killed me without even the littlest kerfuffle.

I remember CheeseWhiz. I ran against him and lost for Midwest Governor. Sad indeed.

I recall only two students in my schools ever dying, one in middle school (suicide) and one in high school (drug OD). I wonder if that's below average.

Just come clean already, Yatesey.

Whoa, I completely missed that. (Not surprising given the thread title and all, though.)

Rest in Peace.

A girl I actually knew rather well died of cancer in 6th grade. I recall an attempted suicide in 8th grade where a kid jumped off a roof, but he was lucky and didn't break anything. And then I'm still in 9th grade, so...

Some kid in my school hanged himself earlier this year. I heard rumours he did it in school (after the day concluded,) but it was never confirmed.

The school didn't talk much about it.

My closest childhood friend surprised everyone by blowing her brains out when she was 16. Attractive, smart girl and no one saw it coming.
