baath?  Wink  no offense, man.

probably the partido de accion nacional down south.  up north, you're more the philosophical equivalent of a separatist Quebecois.  n'est ce-pas?

No, the Bloc Quebecois is actually quite a liberal party; it just also happens to want Quebec to separate from Canada as well.

I don't think that Canada has a party right enough for States. Smiley

How about me Gabu?

Canada is like Australia in that it's boring if you're right-wing.  Smiley  You're basically automatically in the Conservative Party of Canada in that case, given that the Libertarian Party of Canada, while it exists, is basically a nonentity, and no other parties for anyone like that exist.

Right, I suppose if you go into the really minor parties you can find one.

Well, well...for Sweden:

Colin, you'd be a member of Moderata Samplingspartiet (m), meaning Moderate Coalitionparty, which used to be the conservative party in Sweden, but which is now more libertarian.

M, you might be a member of Folkpartiet Liberalerna (fp), meaning Liberal People's Party, since most Swedish Jews are. They're pretty similar to your urban Democratic elite, but more right-winged. Might be (m) though.

Supersoulty would be Kristdemokraterna (kd), Christian Democrats, I suspect.

Philip, I dunno...an extremist in (m) probably.

StatesRights...Sverigedemokraterna (sd), Sweden Democrats, perhaps. Tongue

WMS. I honestly have no idea, but probably a swing voter. A Wild guess, maybe a conservative member of Socialdemokraterna, (s) social democrats.

Did I miss anyone? Sorry in that case...

A swing voter...just like in the U.S.! And maybe a conservative social democrat, if that isn't a contradiction in terms. Thanks for the information in any event! Kiki

I would ask one of the international members to "do me", but as Sen Bono once famously said:

Guess what? Nobody cares

The Green Party, no contest.

EDIT: Or, if we're including minor parties, then you'd be in the Communist Party.

Petra Kelly had a subscription for their newspaper.
I once had a job filing her newspaper archive (now at the Green Party archive).

Well, not more of a contradiction than a conservative Democrat in the US. My dad is a member of the conservative wing of (s). With your anti-elitism and all that, I suspect you would be in that wing originally, but perhaps switched to some other party. You might even be a Centerpartiet, Centre Party (c) man!

Yeah, with 0.3% of the vote.  Heck, the Marijuana Party nearly beat them.

In New Zealand, there is a party about legalising marijuana that got something like 3%.

Here we have a party called HEMP-Help End Marijuana Persecution-that got over 3% in some very uhm...smelly seats Smiley

(C) is traditionally an Agrarian party (most Scandinavian countries have them)

Thanks for the information, Al...I'm seeing some interesting patterns develop in the answers to my question. Kiki
