I would vote for McCain, no contest. I wouldn't even think twice about it. I'd probably actually vote for about half of the Republicans in the Senate before I'd vote for Zell Miller.

Even though Miller supports Bush, I'd love to have a President McCain.

That could be either one!

I think McCain would beat any Democrat.  Or "Democrat" in the case of Zell.

Zell would win the South, but would be brutally shut out in the North. Similar to the 1920 election.

McCain

This is one of the very few scenarios that I'd vote for a Republican president.

I like how McCain is less tied to the religious right than Zell Miller.

Abosultely McCain.  Zell Miller is an embarrassment who all good Democrats are glad is retiring.

He fought for our country and is a true hero.  He is a conservative and a good man.  He just has bad taste in certain pieces of legislation Smiley

I assume the 2004 Zell Miller.  Has he changed that much over the last 10 years?

When he was Governer of Georgia he was a populist and an FDR admirer.

He's still an FDR admirer.  He also admires JFK.  So do I.

I'd vote for Miller.  I can't stand McCain.

This is probably the only contest I can imagine where I'd vote for a Democrat over a Republican.  McCain I dislike, Miller's a fantastic guy.

Both have no party loyalty, but McCain is actually in the correct party, heh.

This could be the first election where a majority of Republicans voted for the Dem, and a majority of Dems voted for the Republican. Tongue
