I realized something that I hadn't thought about.

If Romney becomes the nominee and loses the general election, I'll be excited because within three years we will have a deep bench of candidates. I can see myself enthusiastically supporting Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Chris Christie, Jeb Bush, Bobby Jindal or even Brian Sandoval.

However, I thought, "What if Rick Santorum loses to Obama?" and I found myself thinking that I'd probably be much more upset.

I'm beginning to wonder if my Ohio Primary vote will be going to Rick Santorum...

If Santorum becomes nominee, I'll vote for him in the general election.  I won't be as entusiastic about his social issues, but whatever.   It's still too early to predict who will win the outcome by the summer.
