Just to help spark conversation...

I think the Chair, Vice-Chair, Whip system works well, and everything else in your post seems good.

Now I guess the first thing we should talk about is the platform. These are obviously for the original caucus, but they are from the main thread and they seem to work well enough for a national party.

I'm just throwing some ideas out for discussion- don't take this as the platform of the caucus.

- Support for safe, accessible,  and legal abortion
- Generally supportive of free trade agreements
- Supportive of a compassionate and realistic immigration policy, including increased legal immigration
- Support liberalization of sex and drug policies at regional and federal level
- Pursue comprehensive environmental protection and restoration legislation
- Create a prosperous business envrionment by avoiding overregulation

I pretty much agree with all of this, and it makes sense to use the original platform IMO.

We might need to amend a few things, however, to transition this over to the Liberal Party rather than it's predecessor, the Liberal Caucus of the JCP.

Posting this stuff here so we have easier access to it - not an official entry to any vote on the platform, yet.

I'm biased of course, but personally I like many of the things that have been proposed already.

Personally I've really got no problems at all with the platform... but some people might have some suggestions. As is, I'd be perfectly happy with passing this.

And, with that, I am also resigning as Chair of the Liberal Party, and retiring from Atlasia.

This party has a bright future, and I'm optimistic the game can overcome its current slump. Best of luck, everyone.

PS: Since we've just adopted his proposed platform, I can't think of a better candidate than Scott to replace me as Chair, but we've got a bunch of great choices.
