Mostly aimed at Republicans. I would have to think about it.

If Giuliani runs for president, he will definitely pick a conservative running mate. Smiley

You don't say that about Clinton, and there's another side to the story.

I was never asked about Clinton.

What Giuliani did was not better than what Clinton did - in fact, being that he divorced his wife to sleep with his mistress, it is worse in my eyes. Both are despicable.

As much as I would like to say otherwise, I would vote for an immoral moderate Democrat over a conservative Republican, as long as what they did was not too horrible. I would not like it, though.

You said this is for Republicans, but, if Giuliani ran, I probably wouldn't vote for him.  The way he unconditionally supported Bush in the election has lost my support for him.  I've also talked to my family in New York and realized all the bad things he also did.  If the Democratic candidate was Strom Thurmond-like, I would vote for Giuliani.

If you think Rudy Giuliani a divorced, Pro-choice, Pro-gun control, Pro-gay rights, moderate Republican from New York can get the nomination in the current GOP you are crazy.  One of the following will be the GOP's candidate in 2008, Sen. Bill Frist, Sen. Rick Santorum, or Gov. Bill Owens.  The guy below on the other hand has no chance.

I know this is primarily aimed towards Republicans, but being the New Yorker that I am I would probably vote for Guiliani for President.  He may be a scumbag, but so was Clinton Smiley

Wouldnt write him off especially if Roemer is DNC Chair.  As a moderate Democrat I would not only vote for him. I would campaign for him depending on his opponents in the primary.

I never said he would and if everyone put aside their own opinions of the man they would say the same. He's not going from Mayor to President. He will not be a candidate. I can almost guarentee that. And even if he was to run, he cannot connect with Republican primary voters.

I highly doubt Guliani would even pick a Conservative Running mate.  Regardless its all meaningless no way in hell does a pro-choice, pro-gun control, pro-gay rights candidate win the GOP nomination.

Ah, you could say the same thing about Clinton.

It would depend on who he was running against.
