I've been jumping into various threads to discuss this kind of issue, as well as party names. Personally, I like having unique party names and colors, and as arguably the main Wiki editor, I'm here to assist!

Liberal Party: You've made it clear you want blue. Many of your proposed logos have incorporated  a sky blue color. DeepSkyBlue (#00BFFF) is pretty close to what I've seen, and hasn't been used by a party before. Sound good?

Social Democratic Union: Haven't seen much discussion here. Presumably some kind of red or orange...?

Earth Liberation Front: This is my caucus/party (Ebowed is the only other current member). Forest Green (#228B22) is a natural fit, I think!

Communitarian/Whig/Whatever: Doesn't look like the conservatives have quite figured out what they're doing yet, so I'll refrain from commenting for now.

Oh, and here's a template show basic web colors: http://withfriendship.com/images/c/13862/Web-colors-picture.gif

You can't steal our ideology AND our color man.

Besides, we inherited the "Blue" Party.

The first post in this very thread acknowledges our use of Sky Blue, which you are also trying to claim. And honestly, I think you are a good ideological fit for the Liberal Party. I haven't noticed you advocating anything we aren't...unity would help us.

Look at it from my perspective: you want similar colors and policies. Why not join us?

Alright... Your first color will contrast with the others best, so I'll use it as your primary on the Wiki. Smiley

Also, on the Senate History page, I'm definitely thinking it will be much more easy and sensible to keep the current color scheme for the remainder of the current Senate term (which ends in about a month).

No, but blue is pretty standard for conservative parties around the world. I think your comment is rather ironic. You're pointing someone else's unworldliness when your comment itself was unworldly.

This

And the fact that I've been working for 3 years to get a party that has policies I can live with that uses the colour blue.

Perhaps do a "start of term" and "end of term" graphic, to show the major changes

We ask for a color for our party: BLUE (light, dark, it doesn't matter).

Do the others already have a party? Nope. So what?, are they thinking in their colours A PRIORI for their imaginary parties?

Ridiculous. Liberal party is blue (from light to dark).

The Washburnist Socialist Revolutionary Party requests the colour red. If we can't have that, then perhaps dark red.
