Honestly Mitt, from what I saw. I thought he had the best closing.

From best to worst:

1. Santorum
2. Ron Paul
3. Wolf Blitzer
4. Mitt Romney
5. Newt Gingrich

Santorum was the best but Mitt Romney was a close 2nd but he's more important to the dynamics of the race. Newt was horrible, Romney definitely will win the state of FL

1. Mitt Romney won, mostly because of his early exchange where he (finally) showed some emotion in explaining that Newt Gingrich also had money in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

2. Santorum was a close second and probably resonated with many Republican voters, though I'll have to personally downgrade him a notch for his 18th-century-enlightenment-era-inaliable-self-evident-rights-ish answer to the religion question.

3. Ron Paul was the same as always.

4. Newt Gingrich was an unmitigated disaster in my opinion. He sounded angry and unstable for much of it. There were multiple points during the debate where he was stretching the truth just a bit too far and I hope the GOP electorate sees this before it's too late and he wins too many delegates.

Santorum, but not in the way that's going to do him very much good I think.

The media is either going to say that Newt or Mittney won, and they're probably going to go with the latter.

Mitt Romney was pretty bad, but he was better than Gingrich so he won.

Paul was the best but Romney won because of the poor performance of Newt.

I didn't see Santorum being that strong, the only things he does is getting angry and showing his knowledge in world politics is precarious.

Most Americans don't care about foreign policy right now because the economy is a much bigger issue. And those that do tend to be of the Ron Paul, withdraw from everything variety who's votes aren't up for grabs anyway.

Santorum, following the fall Gingrich strategy of don't attack anyone and look good. But once he became frontrunner that backfired because then all the guns were pointed at him. Still that's what Santorum needed to do tonight. But if anything this election proved was voters don't like positive campaigns and they trust negative attacks (Gingrich crashing in December in Iowa).

Which pisses me off about the hypocritical and uninformed american electorate. They all cheer for someone saying let's not attack each other, but eat up the attacks and not only believe every word, but salivate at it wanting more. Meanwhile they have no clue about anyone's records at all.

Most people there thought Mitt won, but it was a very Mitt crowd and everyone admitted Santorum did great.

Santorum won.  Which means Romney did.

What struck me most is that I'm going to have to amend my earlier statement of Romney supporters to include that they must have no brain either.  There were at least three or four times during that debate that he directly lied, and he got called out on it once, of course.  It's one thing for politicians to play around with the truth - they always do that.  It's quite another to completely and shamelessly lie - no wonder those with a brain don't believe anything he says.

The only one I saw was the commercial, and he flipped it right back at Gingrich.

You weren't listening then, no doubt thinking about how smart you are.

Well, if Gingrich bombed, it was basically a win for Romney.

He owned Romney on healthcare.

Honestly, when we look at the two bozos leading the R primary at the moment... Rick is seeming like a better choice (for you guys, at least) every day.
