Do we have any? Because if we don't, we should.

How about two consecutive terms for Senate, one for President?

That removes the incumbent factor at a Presidential level so I oppose that, I like the current term limit of two consecutice terms for Presidents.

I support the repealing of the term limits for president and support still having no limits for senators. Let the voters decide how long a public figure remains in office.

Two Presidential terms is high enough. Senate terms is tough. Andrew is right though, long time incumbents like StevenNick and  Harry were removed last time.

I agree that the voters should decide, but how about letting them vote on a constitutional amendment?: No person shall serve more than two consecutive terms as Senator.

I am totally against this. I think that no person should be barred from running for office in Atlasia for any reason, unless he is a troll or has been convicted of a crime etc. Let the people decide if enough is enough.

I do believe in term limits but in this case, given the small number of qualified applicants in some regions, the limits should be enforced by the voters rather than the law.

After awhile, there would be no more eligible candidates except for you and Reaganfan...

I have never supported term limits.  I trust the people to know when a politician's time is up a lot more than I trust a one-size-fits-all policy.

we DEFINITELY don't need term limits.  When the voters feel a person has been in office long enough, as was the case with me and Stevennick, they'll vote him out.

Yeah, it's fine for the majority, but that's not meaningful. What about the other people in the district, who are getting sick of their Senator who keeps getting reelected?

Uh, last I checked, elected representatives are supposed to represent the majority of the people in their constituency.  I see nothing wrong with them keeping on getting elected if they still do.

That's like asking Idaho to stop going Republican in every election.  It's not fair that the majority keeps getting to say what happens in elections!

No one has the right to win. They do, I believe, have the right to a fresh face when enough time has passed.

I normally oppose term limits for legislators, and support them for the executives. But in this case, it's fantasy elections, and we need some new Senators from time to time.

Two 3-term Senators got kicked out in the last election.  Why don't you trust the people to do what needs to be done?

If we want fresh faces, we'll elect them to office.

Term limits are idiotic and show that the government places no trust in the voters to make their own decisions.

Any candidate who supports term limits in Atlasia for anyone risks losing my vote.

I'm talking about the minority's right.

Anyway, it was just a proposal.

I'm strongly against it. I trust the people to decide whether or not to reelect their Senators. The voters should be permitted to vote for anyone that they choose.

I fail to see the advantage in restricting the choices that are available to the voters regarding candidates for office.
