Wasn't me, in case you were wondering.  I chose Romney.  I'm just basing it on polls, and he's dominating SC and FL right now (by 5% and 15% respectively, in the RCP three-poll average.)

Hard to win IA, NH, SC, and FL, and then go on to lose the nomination.  I suppose it's possible.

You're giving Perry and Huntsman too much credit.

Romney will be the nominee whether or not Gingrich wins South Carolina.  All that would do is extend the battle into March.
