Jeb Bush is heading over to tour the tsunami damage with Colin Powell. Now, sure he has a lot of experience with natural disasters but I think this smells fishy.

Jeb Bush is definetely running for President in 2008.

Not "fishy" per se...just looks like the grooming of a Presidential run.

I'm not saying it's a bad thing.

I don't know why everybody always assumes that the Bush administration is "above" politics and holy. They absolutely aren't...Rove is one of the most skillful politicians of our time.

So it depends on the definition.

This is getting almost as absurd as the idea that "The Clintons" were going to make sure that Dean got nominated to ensure an easy Hillary win in 08...

I don't like Jeb Bush a lot at all, but he does actually know a *little* about reconstruction efforts...

What exactly is he doing over there?
This smells like being done for political pr...which needn't be the same as a presidential run.

I think it's too early to tell if there's an alterior presidential motive. Do you think Bush's daddy is going to try and run again?

I haven't heard anything recently, but I have always heard he was provided with high-end hookers by his business partners whenever he visited Asia.  Of course it is a normal and extremely civilized practice here - but a bit to reasonable for puritannical america.

He claimed they weren't hookers, and that the STD he got went away.
