Ron Paul vs. Ross Perot

Any time recently Ross Perot has quite often been mentioned when Ron Paul's candidacy is debated about.
Like Perot he is considered a promising independent / third-party candidate in case of a failed party nomination. Furthermore, both are Texans (though only one of them was born there).

But what exactly are the similarities and differences between Paul and Perot?

Okay, so from what I dig up:

Similarities-
Concern for and a dersire to cute debt.
Balance the budget.
Dislike of lobbyists.
Opposed the Gulf War.

Differences-
Perot wanted a stronger war on drugs.
Perot supported the Vietnam War.

Just a side note, Perot owned the debates, and criticized moderators for 'gotcha' questions, so I'd compare that side of him to Gingrich.
