I think we'll need to start drafting bylaws to allow for caucuses, as that bill should become law soon.

I think we should also add a bylaw formalizing how a dissolution should occur, so we're prepared to vote on it whenever the RPP is ready.

I think if we do vote on dissolution and both parties dissolve, we should either have the caucuses in place or allow elected officials to keep using the JCP name until the end of their terms.  (They'd need to join a new party or become independent to run for re-election).

We should establish a procedure, but we really cannot vote until RPP agrees to do the same.

If the JCP dissolves (which I would hate to see) and elected officials are forced to join new parties, I'd like to announce that I will probably start my own if none of the new parties seem fit to me.

Considering the lack of females in our party, are you sure that's such a good idea Wink

But no, I don't think hte punch bowl is spiked.  The plastic lined bathtub full of wop sure is, though! (And in Minnesota, where there are no Italians to offend, wop means jungle juice.. ya know... the juice spiked with gin and/or vodka and loaded with sliced fresh fruit)

I'd say an absolute majority of the party's members should express support for dissolution in order for this to be effective.
