(If Republican or Republican Leaner) If the 2012 Republican primary for President were being held today, and the candidates were Rick Perry, Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum, Ron Paul, Jon Huntsman, and Herman Cain, for whom would you vote?

26% Gingrich
22% Romney
14% Cain
  6% Paul
  6% Perry
  4% Bachmann
  2% Huntsman
  2% Santorum
19% Undecided

From November 14 - 20, Quinnipiac University surveyed 2,552 registered voters with a margin of error of +/- 1.9 percentage points. Live interviewers call land lines and cell phones. The Republican primary includes 1,039 voters with a margin of error of +/- 3 percent.

I wonder if Cain can still win some contests.... he's fallen hard but not "Perry hard".

Perry didn't fall "Perry hard" either. He slowly declined over a long period of time. Cain's been out of the lead and the spotlight for barely a week; he'll be in mid-single digits by Christmas.
