No. All of my friends buy vinyl and/or just download songs illegally.

I buy CDs, burn them, and get the free ones as well.  Just got a free one last week.

Burning CDs?  I bet you like burning big stacks of tires and minority children too, you Earth-hating Rethuglican!

If you have seriously begun to quote this post in order to inform me of the correct meaning of the phrase "burning CDs," then you are even more of a social retard than I thought possible.

one girl from high school almost certainly still does.  it was a big issue with her friends (incl. me) in high school, she would literally refuse to take the leaked copy of Infinity on High I made her in late January 07.

I do, sometimes.  I refuse to take pirated music; unlike some thugs, I pay for my music.

I still do, though it's greatly dwarfed in comparison to the vinyl I buy, and most are used ones bought cheap.

I do, when it comes to musicians whose work I admire enough to want to support even if I'm mostly supporting the distributor, which is a lot of musicians since I love music. I actually have a lot of CDs. I had an iPod briefly but I lost it and haven't even missed it that much.

I buy cds or vinyl when I'm in the mood for it.  I only downloaded songs when I was a lot younger (and when Limewire was a big thing).

Very rarely and only for DIY type bands, screw labels. I do burn CDs from time to time for the car.

I do and then I transfer them to my mp3 player.  I am so proud that I have never owned an ipod or any apple product in my life.  I keep the CDs, too, because I listen to them in the car that and K-LOVE Christian Radio.

In fact, a week from tomorrow, November 4, my mother and I are going to make our annual trip to a local Christian and office supply store to specifically shop for Christmas music.  She and Dad are starting to get into the Christmas Spirit, too.

I know folks who do. I do too, for birthdays & such. Otherwise I just borrow stuff off of my buddies or from the library.

Yes.

It's nostalgic buying CD's I missed out in the 1990s.

Yes, I do. I prefer to have a physical object when I buy something, and I don't trust the free download sites.

I've never known anyone who purchased music (everyone I've known either listened to the radio like normal people, or, admittedly downloaded illegal from napster back when that was the cool thing to do) and in fact the only time someone ever shared with me music they purchased was from a 8-track
