since Christie is socially to the left of Romney (or about the same), Cain's destiny is probably in his own hands, barring entry into the race from someone like Paul Ryan

I entered the poll here: https://uselectionatlas.org/POLLS/PRESIDENT/2012R/polls.php?action=indpoll&id=1220110930156

The pollster was War Room Logistics. They polled Florida on Sept 20 as well, finding Romney and Perry tied at 25%. Those are the only two polls they have produced this cycle. I don't know if they have any other history.

Obama is cruising in the general election in this (R) poll:

48-42 over Romney.

Over 50% against everyone else.

What say you, jmfcst?

I think Obama will lose another 8-15 points before Nov 2012

That isn't as important for the primary poll. For the general, maybe.
