for comparing President Obama to Adolf Hitler.  I don't know if this is just for tonight, or the season, or permanently.

My question is why would a famous Monday Night Football icon say something this stupid.  It's one thing to believe what he just said, but to voice it publicly on Fox and Friends?

He's allowed to say what he wants to say. It is the liberal media spinning around just to make him look bad. I will get mocked by everyone here for saying this but hell with it

Sure and everyone is also allowed to ridicule him for his insanely idiotic comments. It's our right.

Didn't that MoveOn ad comparing Bush to Hitler get pulled from the Super Bowl because Republicans complained? Not really giving "them" (the Left, I assume) a pass. Of course neither moveon or Williams really deserve a pass; their free speech isn't/wasn't being infringed.

Hank Williams should be allowed to say what he wants, and ESPN should be allowed to take him off the air if he says stupid sh**t that hurts them with their viewers.

I'm in basic agreement with this.
