Let's see some map ideas:

A. Obama loses to Romney in 2012

Scenario 1: Romney/Rubio vs. Cuomo/Perriello (VA Gov. in 2013),  Unemployment is 5.8% (see also 1980-84, tax cuts)

Scenario 2: Romney/Rubio vs. Cuomo/Perriello, Unemployment is 13.8% (see also 1937-38, deficit reduction)

B. Obama wins over Romney in 2012

Scenario 1: Rubio/Huntsman vs. Klobuchar/Hickenlooper, Unemployment is 5.8%

Scenario 2: Rubio/Huntsman vs. Klobuchar/Hickenlooper, Unemployment is 13.8% (Obama managed to squeak by before the second crash)
