This appears to be another poll which functions as further confirmation that Romney is the most electable.  The most recent Rasmussen poll also shows Romney ahead of Obama, the most recent PPP poll shows the closest race being Obama vs Romney.  Also the most recent crop of state polls tend to show Romney performing better than Perry.

If this continues the GOP conservative electorate will have to decide whether they want a candidate who has a higher probability of winning, or whether they want the more ideological conservative.

Zogby or not, other national polls confirm Romney is ahead of Obama as well.

This can be credited to the undeniable fact that Romney is a very credible candidate for President, like him or not, and that voters believe that Romney has the gravitas for the job.

Seen the debates?  Romney is the one with the best command of the issues, and the one who best presents credible solutions.

Although, I have to admit, Obama 45%/Cain 42% stretches the limits of ones' imagination.

I think Romney will be an excellent President actually.

He is smart, moderate, had a business background, and knows how to make a deal with the Dems when he needs to.
