It looks as if the current Republican favorite is Rick Perry.

The Debt Ceiling debate probably ended up showing what a trimmer Romney is. Bachmann and Perry at least left no question of where they stood during the debate. Romney simply stayed on the sidelines, moistened his finger, lay low until after the debate, and then excoriated the President like just about every other Republican.

That obviously took no talent and no principle.

Is this the first poll showing Perry doing better than Romney against Obama?  Electability is one of the few things between Perry and a far more dominant frontrunner status.

Some other candidate, also known as "selected leans Obama, but I want my poll to look nice for Murdoch."

This guy is really disgusting sometimes. If you think Perry and Bachmann are performing better than Romney in a general election, you need to put down the crack pipe.

Bachmann outperforms Romney nationally now? Has it come to this?
