Hopefully he can work out of this unpopularity funk to prevent a Perry or Bachmann travesty.

Not a good result, obviously, but still early.

Considering that he racks up 40% approval ratings in their polls, these are actually good results for him - for the moment.

So will the media start giving Ron Paul some legitimate attention now? (Just kidding!)

"A new Gallup poll shows Mitt Romney as the strongest challenger to the President with a 2 point lead.  Rick Perry is second strongest at a tie while fourth best is Michelle Bachmann, who only trails by four."

This is kind of a paradox for Romney.  When Obama falls enough for it to appear Romney could beat him in a general election, his electability argument for the primary weakens as the more conservative rivals also move into striking distance.

Ironically enough, once you take in RCP averages, Ron Paul is the second strongest Republican against Obama in the general election. Paul trails by 8.5% while Perry comes in third with 9.2%.

There is a place for the 20% of this country who dislike our system of government to go.  In fact its 3.5 hours north of where I live or a simple plane flight to one of the European plantations.  You can enjoy a cradle to grave welfare system or rest easy knowing that western civilization burns to the ground as in London for even milquetoast austerity measures ensure that that system never changes.

This could be the turning point, the GOP candidate (whoever that turns out to be) could be on the way to a blow-out win over Obama by Nov. 2012.  By late winter I expect the calls for Hillary to run will be turning into a tsunami.....

If by March, Obama is down double digits to the GOP nominee or frontrunner(s), there might be calls for Obama to LBJ it but don't see how Hillary could jump in so late without that happening.

Also, Gallup also offers this:

I highly doubt Obama declines to run for reelection, no matter what happens. His unpopularity will not swing to LBJ numbers merely because the country is so polarized, he'll get, at minimum, 45% of the national vote. I think that is his floor.

Canada isn't easy to move to, otherwise I might have already even with their ridiculous 'tolerance' policies.

Wow, tied with Perry. How's that moderate heroism working out for you Barack? Maybe you could have paid attention to my signature when I posted it 2 years ago? You idiot.

America is clearly voicing its anger with Rick Perry over his Texas roots.

It's quite obvious that Rochambeau was David Wu, driving mad by Joe Republic's taunts, and eventually corrupted into a tiger costume-wearing, Hot Girls/Guys thread-starting sexual assault artist.

PPP twitters:

Our monthly national poll finds different story from Gallup: Obama tied with Romney but up by 2008 like margins v. rest of GOP field.

Obama leading Perry by 24 with independents on our national poll.

Sir,

Firstly, I was joking.

Secondly, I honestly have to believe that you're trolling. No one can be this xenophobic and hate-filled in one post. So, good day.
