I'd like to encourage a vote for change and for bgwah as PPT.  While NCY has served the senate well in the capacity of PPT, and I thank him for that, I think it's time for a change.  Bgwah has shown his excellent capacity for organization and dedication to the senate and I think he would make an excellent PPT.

Yankee has done a fabulous job as PPT and has literally kept this Senate together. While I have no doubt bgwah would make a fine PPT, I encourage the Senate to not change the ingredients of success.

No, I didn't though I was asked to. I know bgwah better than Yankee. I have yet to cast a vote.

It did take a lot for me to decide to run again. Had this thread been posted on Friday, I may not have done so. With the connection issues, and other things, losing the PPTship isn't something that would cause me to lose much sleep were it to happen.

Last time we fixed it, the senate came to a standstill. Bgwah may not let it fall by the waste side again, but I'm not ready to leave my comfort zone. Just not yet.

I trust Bgwah to be an excellent PPT, but like my colleagues I see no reason to change. Let's face it, Yank is the perfect PPT and until he wants the job he'll have my full and unconditional support.

Here is problem. The rules do not allow for nominations or even acceptance of nominations. Only "declarations" and "announcements" of candidacies are mentioned in the rules. Inspite of this had bgwah said, "I accept your nomination" to either Snowguy or Napoleon, or both even, that could have been easily enough interpreted as a declaration/announcement and thus allowed to run. Bgwah didn't do this, nor did he post in this thread at all, despite having ample opportunity to do so. Therefore there is no declaration/announcement from Senator bgwah.

Truth be told there's two fine options and I have a sense of who will win. I don't have a strong opinion one way or the other so I will probably abstain. You'd both do a good job.
