You can't link Lennon's death to Reagan .  Look to Carter's CIA

The man who brought us "Give Peace A Chance" was also huge 1980 Reagan supporter? Never would have thought Lennon like that scumbag. Eugene McCarthy supported Reagan though, so anything comes around. JFK would have supported Raygun if he was alive in 1980.

Sure it does, just read the lyrics of some of his songs, like Revolution.

Ok then, Carter hired MDC tot ake out John Lennon. That or Reagan used Time Travel due to John starting an anarchist movement that overthrew the government.

Was he the one that voted Tory the first time he saw his tax bill? Actually there were a lot of those, so that's not really narrowing things down much.

Then there is Taxman which is technically Harrison's song, but Lennon wrote a lot of it.

It makes sense.  Reagan himself was a former Left-winger after all, and the article implies that Lennon turned away from the 60's radicalism later in life.

One overrated low talent liked another overrated low talent, not a surprising. I have a lot of unpopular opinion and never really getting the appeal of the Beatles is one of them.

I find it somewhat surprising, given that Lennon was hardcore into the New Age-y mystical mumbo-jumbo, not a very Reagan friendly field (though Nancy did like astrology).

I have to disagree with the person that said that Bobby Kennedy would've voted for Reagan.  He would've been a diehard supporter of his little brother.  Tongue

True.  The most famous bands in Britain became tax exiles in the 1970's including Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, the Who, and former members of the Beatles.  I am all for a progressive income tax rate, but I can't really blame them that much because the mid to late 70's rates for the highest earners in the UK was pretty exorbitant.
