1. (Republicans and Republican Leaners) If the 2012 Republican primary for President were being held today, and the candidates were - Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty, Michelle Bachman, Gary Johnson, Rick Santorum, Ron Paul, John Huntsman, and Herman Cain, for whom would you vote?

25% Romney
15% Palin
  9% Cain
  8% Gingrich
  8% Paul
  6% Bachmann
  5% Pawlenty
  4% Santorum
  1% Huntsman
  0% Johnson
20% Undecided

From May 31 - June 6, Quinnipiac University surveyed 1,946 registered voters with a margin of error of +/- 2.2 percentage points. Live interviewers call land lines and cell phones. The Republican primary included 830 voters with a margin of error of +/- 3.4 percent.

Palin is the best ally of Romney: she prevents any other small candidate from the GOP right to surge.

Anyway, Romney is still low. He'd be the nominee by default.

You may want to check the Reuters/Ipsos poll.  This one is what we call an outlier....

My boy Cain is in third. Hellz yeah. I'm riding this Cain bandwagon as long as possible.

Yay! Smiley The field is certainly clearing. Palin running will only help Romney's candidacy, especially with what looks to be an upcoming war between Palin and Bachmann.
