Is there irony in the fact that we are in a time and place where this issue could arise in a region not located south of the Mason-Dixon line? Wink

I voted Support, but under specific circumstances that would be too tedious to explain.

I went through all of my concerns and views on this matter in the NE Assembly.

It's a rampantly stupid concept.

As far as I was prepared to go in the Assembly, as therefore as far as I will go, will be to ensure that if a law's constitutionality is being questioned, the region will not be penalised if they do not enforce the law until it's status has been clarified - but after that they are obliged to follow the Constitution.

The Supreme Court is the body that decides whether or not a law is unconstitutional.

Support in very limited circumstances - Polnut's post earlier in the thread seems like a reasonable guideline, I think.

Considering that several out-of-region people were likely told to vote "NE: Oppose," it's obvious that a clear majority of Northeasterners are, in fact, in favor of our reforms.

I expected the IDS, but majority support in the ME too? That one's a bit surprising.

This apparently reflects the increasing number of RPP members in the region.

Quite the opposite, the region is opposed.
