*sips latte while DMB plays in the background* I love fitting in with stereotypes. I literally go to the local Starbucks about once a week, drink coffee and read the New York Times. What are some stereotypes that you fit?

I'm a computer geek and am very introverted and kind of socially inept in real life.

From what I've read, you're actually a very gracious and funny guy.

I generally fit the stereotype of my demographic - white, male, upper middle class, and therefore conservative.  I have the stereotypical "white guy" taste in most everything, and I don't mind having it pointed out to me.  It's just a fact.

Same here.  Wink

I am German and I love German beer or at least beer with a German name and style.  I also love kraut and mustard and when working have a preoccupation with effiecency (which disappears when I am not working).

I am a neo-con and love wearing my grey suit and red tie (John Birch Society throw back).  Other than that, I can't say to much.

Where I break stereo-tyes, well, I love Starbucks and other "fancy" things that definatly do not fit the stero-type of conservatives or rural people.  There are other areas where I break a lot of stereo-types, but....

Except for a bit of intelectualism, which leads for odd politica views.

I'm also the cynical guy, fi that counts for anything.

I tend to dress like every Republican Guard officer you've ever seen.  I live in a Black neighborhood North Philadelphia and get Christmas Cards from the Bushes.

I'm an American, of French and German extraction, with an Amerindian name, that sounds Jewish, but has been around Pennsylvania for a quarter of a millennia.  I practice an English religion but I've published on Islam.  Most people assume that I'm, White, Black, mixed, Hispanic, Jewish, or Arab.  On the same day somebody thought I was a Nazi, while someone else thought I was a rapper.  I'm use to being stopped by security.

Nearly everybody, including my clients, calls me J. J. and I'm known by those initials accross North America.

Stereotype that!  :-)

I meant around people I don't know very well in real life.  If they're friends (or on the internet, for whatever reason), I'm generally fine, but if I have to socialize with a stranger, er... I'm kinda shy.

I don't really fit into any behavioral stereotypes if you get to know me.  Half of me is somewhat nerdy and the other half is ultra laissez-faire.

I am Irish and do have pasty skin, but that's about it.
