IDS just conceeded the Scottish Conservative chances of winning in Scotland.

"We've got on with Alex Salmond's crew in Scotland" and "I think the SNP have proably held on, much disappointment for Labour." Lobbying to be a coalition partner or something?

Labour actually up a bit; but the LibDem vote collapsed - almost entirely - to the SNP.

Yes, that's how it works.  We should get a constituency breakdown of the regional votes once the dust settles.

Inevitable given the general pattern; unfortunate for Labour though, as Kerr did show signs of having ideas during the leadership contest.

The South Lanarkshire electoral services department are their usual efficient selves.  SNP gain Hamilton.
