It's usually a couple of hours. Rumours before then are often very unreliable.

IDS just conceeded the Scottish Conservative chances of winning in Scotland. Wink

"We've got on with Alex Salmond's crew in Scotland" and "I think the SNP have proably held on, much disappointment for Labour." Lobbying to be a coalition partner or something?

Remember, a coalition with the Tories is barred in the SNP's constitution.

Tweet from BBC

'BBCScotelection: For the costituency vote it suggests SNP - 51%; Labour - 26%; Conservative - 12%; Others - 7%; Liberal Democrat - 4%. #sp11'

I have no idea who this is from and why it is being suggested.

Seems very unlikely.

If it happened though, would that mean independence would be a real possibility?

Aberdeen looks good for the SNP, apparently.

Labour actually up a bit; but the LibDem vote collapsed - almost entirely - to the SNP.

Are the regions counted by the local constituencies and then lumped together once they're all done? Or are they counted separately?

Yes, that's how it works.  We should get a constituency breakdown of the regional votes once the dust settles.

Inevitable given the general pattern; unfortunate for Labour though, as Kerr did show signs of having ideas during the leadership contest.
