I'm sure you're eager to vote for a good christian doctor like him. He even got Reagan's endorsement!

Except, I'm still planning to vote for Obama (reluctantly, I must add).

Yeah, maybe in fantasy land!!  I still don't think Ron Paul has much of a chance this year.  He's too much of a "third-party Republican" to win anything.

Maybe you forgot that Robert "Naked Cowboy" Burck was in the race as well. It will be two states for Obama, two states for Burck, and 46 states for Paul.

A "testing the waters" committee is apparently different from an exploratory committee.  And yet, as the article notes, in both cases you can raise $ for the "real campaign".  So in that sense, I'd say it basically is equivalent to an exploratory committee, just structured differently for legal reasons or something.

I don't know how much I can take of Paul this time around. 2008 was nice cause it was like a comedy, but 2012 will be a nightmare.

Paul was pretty much kept in the closet in 2008, because the party wanted McCain from the start..Ron Paul can harvest Tea Party support better then anyone in a General Election. Its the primaries that will be the hardest point.

Dr. Paul will defeat the Jewish globalist conspiracy and ride to a 46 state landslide victory in 2012! ALL HAIL PAUL!

After watching a documentary on Auschwitz yesterday i was doing some web search surfing and accidentally ended up on a Holocaust denial site shouting about how Obama was a "Zionist Wolf in Sheep's Clothing" but I also noticed a link off that site to the "Patriot Dr. Ron Paul"

I don't know if Ron Paul is a racist, and all his supporters aren't racists, but it seems that he is the preferred candidate of racists. But not really sure why.

He is against a lot of laws that they don't like (eg. hate crime laws, etc).

Doesn't mean much. There was an Indian who ran for parliament in my area a while ago, and he was backed by the local racists because he was against hate crime laws.

So Ron Paul gets to waste millions of dollars on something he has no chance to winning. Maybe he should get all that money and just donate it all to charity and not run instead.

Something about Ron Paul is honestly a little disturbing.

Or Palin. Or Daniels (who already announced he isn't running), Pawlenty, Santorum, etc etc etc

That's a lie. Daniels has not yet mentioned his intentions one way or the other.

TA DA!

Also, even if he ran, there isn't much reason to think he would do better than the other second-rate candidates squeezing up for 5% of the vote. I mean, he probably do better than, say, Pawlenty or Santorum, but first tier? Doubt it.

Where in that article does he say he's not running?

Indeed, that very article has this:
