Neither because I never had anything approaching a positive viewpoint of it since I was like 11 anyway.

Its rare occurrence when I'm fully agreeing with BRTD, but today is one of those days.  Sign of the end times?

Anyway, I voted option 1, but again, neither has "damaged" my view of Christianity.

well, I'll cut him some slack and bless him, knowing that Christ will come back and convert the Jews, which is why I brought up the fact that I knew about his parents:

The antics of those under 30 should not absent - well, the miraculous itself - influence one's opinion of the metaphysical - one way or the other. If it did, most would join my little small cohort of those separated from faith. Think about that one!

wealthy, "bible-thumping" suburbanites with a lucrative skillset a la jmf are actually really nice people in real life. jmf is a little eccentric though, but I think that may be a byproduct of posting on this forum.

Bushie, mainly because he is apart of a self-destructive fringe Baptist group and is a true hypocrite.

Though I don't read many of jmfcst's posts, I believe he's mainline Evangelical--which is a brilliantly conceived branch--and his attitude is perfectly acceptable for someone of those beliefs, so his tense and dense style doesn't damage me at all.
