Have you voted for one party in three presidential elections in a row?

And I am referring to U.S. presidential elections.  I think I read somewhere that your political allegiances are set once you have voted for one party in your first three consecutive presidential elections.

To answer this poll question, I have not.  I voted Bush/Cheney in 2000, though I have voted for Democrats in every presidential election since then.

I've only voted in one election (Obama in 08), but I will be voting against him in 2012, that's for sure. So, no.

I've also only voted in one, 2008, in which I wrote in Ron Paul.  Good chance I'll be doing the same in '12 and '16.

yes.  I voted for Dukakis in 1988, Clinton in 1992, and Clinton in 2996.  Since then I voted for Nader, Bush, and Obama, so it's been a while since I had three in a row.

No, and I've voted in every election since 1984 (1980 if you count the mock election in high school where I voted for Anderson).  In fact I haven't even ever voted for the same party twice in a row in presidential elections.

I'm typing and mousing left-handed today.  I rolled over my wine glass last evening after I'd fallen asleep.  Apparently I crushed the glass with my right hand, but the glass definitely got even with me.

I normally stop drinking before I retire, but yesterday we planted a bunch of stuff in the back yard.  Tomatoes, chiles, flowers, shrubs.  Lots of digging.  It was unseasonably warm and I was getting in touch with my inner Hank Hill.  I guess I was just tired yesterday so I retired early.  Still thirsty.  So I took my drink to bed with me.  Must have fallen asleep with a glass in one hand.  It's okay.  Just a cut on my right index finger.  It goes to the bone apparently.  Good thing that bone was there!  At some point I dreamt that my son was measuring my finger with a ruler and pressing it down on my finger harder and harder.  In my dream I was about to smack him for that.  Then I woke up and it felt sticky, and in the dark I recognized immediately the metallic smell of freshly let blood from a carnivorous mammal.  Long story short, I just took some hydrocodone pills leftover from a previous prescription, bandaged it myself, and changed the sheets.  By the time my wife came upstairs I guess I was asleep again.  

Anyway, it's alright.  I cycled in to work today.  I bandaged my finger enough so it won't bend.  Keeps it pointed straight out so it doesn't hurt.  I'll be fine after a couple of days.

Angus' story reminds me of what happened to my niece once upon a time, tho the only similarity is that glass was involved.  She was a young girl at the time (late 70's, maybe early 80's) and took a bite out of a McDonaldland glass (Hamburglar if I remember correctly).  No cuts, no injury, just a single bite shaped piece of glass we got her to spit out before she came to any harm.  For some reason, that was the last time our family used those glasses.

My mom told me that when I was a toddler, I flushed a bunch of McDonald's happy meal toys down the toilet after I got mad at her for taking my Elmo Saves Christmas video away. We needed a plumber to come out XDD

Voted (R) yes since I have havent bothered to change my registration.  I currently have a streak of 4 in a row, but this will very likely change in 2012.
